Two individuals identified as Vijay Haldar, also known as Bhootam, and Hiranmoy Naskar, known as Rana, were apprehended following the recovery of firearms in Vanapalli, Garia. The arrests occurred subsequent to the seizure of a pistol, two 7 mm pistols, 30 rounds of cartridges, 5 kg of gunpowder, and 25 bundles of twine, all recovered from Hiranmay's residence.

Notably, Vijay Haldar has a history of criminal activities, with a previous arrest related to a murder case.
